I've always been curious about what makes people connect.

Maybe that's why I've spent my career working with words, ideas, stories and experiences — from public relations and community relations to corporate marketing, communications and events. Along the way, I've worked with businesses, nonprofits, community organizations and educational institutions, helping people figure out what they want to say and how to say it in a way that people will actually hear.

I'm a marketer, communicator and storyteller by training and experience, but I've always been a question-asker, too. I earned a bachelor's degree in public relations and a master's in communication and leadership, and I've spent decades putting that knowledge to work in the real world — where communication isn't always neat, people don't always say what they mean, and the right words can make all the difference.

I'm fascinated by how we communicate with one another, how the stories we tell shape what we believe, and how the way we show up in the world affects our relationships, our work and the opportunities in front of us.

These days, I'm bringing all of that experience into a body of work that is a little more personal — and a little more curious.

I write about communication, culture and the questions that make us stop and think. I'm creating practical resources for people who want to communicate and market their ideas more effectively. I'm working on a book. And I'm continuing to explore the intersection of ideas, words, people and experiences that has fascinated me throughout my career.
